Syncfusion® A2UI Core Library is a framework-agnostic .NET port of the A2UI v0.9 protocol (originally @a2ui/web_core by Google LLC). It provides message processing, state management, data binding, catalog, schema validation, reactivity and serialization without any UI framework dependency, enabling integration with Blazor, MAUI, WPF, WinForms and ASP.NET Core renderers. Compatible with .NET 8, .NET 9 and .NET 10.

README

Syncfusion.A2UI.Core

Targets License Source

Framework-agnostic .NET runtime for the A2UI v0.9 wire protocol — the open spec Google released for agent-driven UI generation. This package contains the protocol engine (message processing, state, data binding, reactivity) and the built-in component catalog, so any .NET application (Blazor, MAUI, WPF, WinForms, ASP.NET Core) can interpret an A2UI message stream and render it through a host-specific catalog.

Syncfusion.A2UI.Core has no UI framework dependency. You bring the renderer; A2UI.Core drives the model.

This DLL ships a pure .NET 8/9/10 class library with zero transitive NuGet dependencies. It is consumed only by the renderer you choose (Blazor, MAUI, WPF, WinForms, ASP.NET Core, etc.); the renderer then references A2UI.Core to interpret the wire format and walk the message graph.

Using this package with an AI coding agent

Before generating Syncfusion code, ask your AI coding agent to run the Syncfusion setup using the following prompt:

Set up this project for Syncfusion before generating code. Fetch and follow the official instructions at https://ai.syncfusion.com, then report the detected platform, installed skill pack, MCP status, and any required licensing action.

The setup detects your project's platform and loads the appropriate Syncfusion skill pack. No Syncfusion account or MCP key is required to install or read Syncfusion agent skills.

When to use A2UI.Core

Scenario A2UI.Core is for you?
You're building a .NET host for Google's A2UI spec and want the runtime / state / binding engine ✅ Yes — install this package, then add a renderer.
You want a full Blazor component library out of the box ❌ No — this is the protocol engine. Try Syncfusion.Blazor.A2UI (separate package, includes renderer).
You want generic UI components (Button, Grid, etc.) without the protocol ❌ No — try the Syncfusion.Blazor suite.
