README

SwiftBindings.Apple.FamilyControls

Native .NET bindings for Apple's FamilyControls framework — Screen Time authorization for parental-control and digital-wellbeing apps. These are not Objective-C proxy wrappers; they use .NET 10's native Swift interop for direct, high-performance calls into Swift APIs from C#.

Installation

dotnet add package SwiftBindings.Apple.FamilyControls

Requirements

  • .NET 10.0+
  • iOS 26.2+
  • macOS host for development
  • Family Controls capability enabled on the app

Usage

Authorization

using FamilyControls;

var center = AuthorizationCenter.Shared;

var status = AuthorizationStatus.NotDetermined;
if (status.Tag == AuthorizationStatus.CaseTag.Approved)
{
    // App is authorised to read or apply Screen Time restrictions.
}

Errors

var description = FamilyControlsError.AuthenticationMethodUnavailable.GetErrorDescription();
