About Duende.Labs.AccessTokenManagement

This directory contains a set of .NET libraries that manage OAuth and OpenId Connect access tokens. These tools automatically acquire new tokens when old tokens are about to expire, provide conveniences for using the current token with HTTP clients, and can revoke tokens that are no longer needed.

The code was imported from DuendeSoftware/foss so that it can be iterated on in the labs monorepo. Namespaces are unchanged (Duende.AccessTokenManagement and Duende.AccessTokenManagement.OpenIdConnect); only the package identifiers carry the Duende.Labs. prefix.

Packages

  • Duende.Labs.AccessTokenManagement manages tokens acquired in machine-to-machine flows in .NET workers and ASP.NET Core worker services.
  • Duende.Labs.AccessTokenManagement.OpenIdConnect manages tokens acquired in user-centric flows in ASP.NET Core applications.

Packages are versioned with the labs date-based scheme (YYYY.MMDD.RUN) and published from .github/workflows/access-token-management-publish.yml.
